Fake tan a cancer risk!?

Image sourced from thebeautydepartment.com via pinterest

As someone who has done my fair share of self tanning I was alarmed to hear that fake tan (in the form of spray tan) could be carcinogenic (cause cancer).

I mean, when you think about it, it makes sense that ingesting chemicals can’t be good for you, but I had always opted for the spray tan thinking I was saving myself from skin cancer. While the risk from sun baking and tanning beds is no doubt much higher, this is a lesson that natural is always the healthiest alternative.
